Istanbul Chamber of Industry put the KOZA Start-up Accelerator Program into practice by setting up the subcategories of certain thematic areas to be able to make Istanbul an international hub for the entrpreneurial ecosystem.
Along the program, four thematic areas will be implemented. These areas are as following; Internet of Things (IoT), Health Technologies, Defense Industry and Energy. Each thematic round will take five-months from the calling process to the final demo-day.
KOZA Scale Up Mini MBA will be conducted in the first month of each thematic round. The training topics which will be given by distinguished trainers are listed below:
Following KOZA Scale Up Mini MBA, the selected start-ups will continue to the program and make face-to-face meetings with professionals and experienced industrialists. Start-ups will have the opportunity to have academic consultation in technical fields. Apart from these services, ICI KOZA will provide consultation to start-ups in 8 different subjects.
At the end of mentorship and consulting services start-ups will be evaluated once again and the selected ones will come together with investors at the “Final Demoday” and at “Turkish Entrepreneurship Festival” in March 2020.
The main goal of the program is fostering the Turkish economy by increasing the country’s competitive advantage in international markets through new and local technologies developed by the entrepreneurs.
What makes KOZA program different from others is the intense interaction between entrepreneurs and industrialists. Within this program, we bring start-ups and successful and experienced industrialists as well as investors together.
The most important source for the start-ups applying to KOZA Program is the industrialist pool consisting of the valuable ICI-members. KOZA has been established to create a platform which is stimulating for start-ups and firms/companies to interact each other and produce and create together for new cooperations.
